Products description

Today spontaneously create a category "vegan", tomorrow a category "rhinestones" - but without having to search, copy and maintain products?  No problem!
With the rule manager for Modified E-Commerce you can, similar to Shopware, create a category that is either completely filled by only one rule or both by a rule and by you manually.

How does it work ?

Process

Step 1:

Under Catalog - Item Properties you create properties and their values as usual, for example the Color property with the values Brown, Red and Black or the Vegetable Type property with the values Cucumber, Potato, Zucchini.

Step 2:

Under Utilities - Dynamic Product List you can now create rules.  To do this, click on "Insert", assign (just for you) a name and a description for the rule and then the conditions.

For example:
All products with manufacturer adidas, which have the value "red". Or also: All products that are either from Adidas or have the value red. To do this, simply set the tag condition to "and" or "or".

Step 3:
In the category, you can now select your rule.
If the category is empty, only the products that match the rule will be displayed. If you have manually added products to the category, they will be displayed as well.
The products are displayed in the order of the first category in which we find them (if they are sorted by numbers there).
So you have e.g. 5 products in one category "sorted by order".
The first product in the list was added manually.
The second and third were added dynamically.
The fourth and fifth again manually.

In principle, these rules can be used everywhere in the store.
There is a separate page for creating rules, which can then be selected in the categories. This allows and to use multiple rules for one category. You can also extend "Bestsellers" and "Top Products" so we can use rules there too, and even in the landing page manager!

Extendable as you like!
And also the rules can be extended as you like - we can add you rules like "products that have a stock < 10" or "products that are cheaper than 10 Euro".  Please tell us your wishes before ordering.

Please also note the pictures in this offer.

Update 2024: Now also for customer advice!

You can now also create a rule and enter a customer ID.
The results of the rule are only visible to the store admins and the logged-in customer. In this way, you can compile a list of products for the customer live and on the phone.

1 - 2 - 3 - that's it!

  1. First you create the rule, for example with the name "For Mr. Meier personally"
  2. There you enter the customer ID of the customer who should see the list (several customer IDs, comma-separated, are also possible).
  3. As well as the product IDs (comma-separated) that you want to show the customer.

Mr. Meier sees the category "For Mr. Meier personally" live in his frontend and can discuss these products with you or buy them directly. The list remains as long as you keep the rule active.
This fake category can only be seen by the specified customer(s) and by all administrators and will always be the first category in shop.
