XTC Modified Shop Software
XTC Modified was a free store software released in 2008 under the GPL2 open source license. The history of XTC Modified began as a reaction to the fact that the company XT Commerce tried to sell their previously free software for a fee. Quite quickly there was legal trouble because of the name, whereupon the open source project xtc modified was renamed to Modified Ecommerce.
The Modified Shop is based on the script language PHP and a Mysql database.
Advantages of the Modified Shop is the large community, which helps "hobbyists" to get into the Modified Shop and reprogram things themselves. There are also many independent service providers around the modified store.
Also Fishnet Services was there from the beginning and has experience with Modified Shops since 2008. So if you want programming, design, hosting or marketing - or even all together from one source - then you are exactly right with us.
