Delete log files automatically

In Modified 2.x you can only delete ALL log files manually with a button in the admin - even the most recent ones you might still need.

In Modified 1.06 you can't even do that, you have to shimmy through the FTP and empty the folder (being careful not to delete the wrong files).

It's all time-consuming, you forget about it and, frankly, you don't feel like it. And so the server keeps filling up.

That doesn't have to be!
We install a password-protected directory with a script that deletes all log files older than 15 days. We call this script with a cronjob, i.e. a recurring command that executes our script every night.

This way you always have the last few log files at hand without your storage space running full.
