Often traders have products that have a minimum price that is open upwards depending on the features.
Example:
You sell a stamp album. The album should cost 10 euros.
Furthermore, the customer should be able to buy stamps. Each stamp should cost 1 euro.
Instead of juggling different products, you can offer the album at the basic price of 10 euros,
and the customer enters that he would like to have 8 stamps in addition. This price is then added up.
Other examples:
- hosting plus domains, or price per MB of storage space
- appliance or piece of furniture plus spare parts
- software per domain, for each additional domain
- lamp plus bulb, for each additional bulb
- tile package basic price, for each additional square metre
....and so on....
