Obtain consent for e-mail through dispatch service provider

Do you want to share your customer's email address with your shipping provider?

We implement an additional checkbox on the checkout_payment page, i.e. where the customer ticks a shipping method anyway and perhaps also the T&Cs, which asks for permission: "I agree that my email address is passed on to the shipping service provider so that I can be informed about my package".

If the checkbox is ticked, the order confirmation email will contain the note "The customer has consented to the forwarding of data to the shipping service provider!", otherwise "ATTENTION Customer has NOT consented to the forwarding of data to the shipping service provider!".

All modules in the legal area were programmed at the customer's request. Please ask your lawyer whether they are legally required. We cannot give any information on this.
