We load a file into your shop which marks your shop (in the background) according to youth protection law and informs the current youth protection programmes of the voluntary age rating, so that children who have a filter on their PC cannot view your page.
This is about prohibiting children from viewing your website - provided their parents have installed appropriate parental control software.
This is not an age verification for legally protected sales but an additional function!
Just tell us the desired setting (from: 0 years, 6 years, 12 years, 16 years, 18 years).
If you want to send to adults, you might want to check out "Adult Signature" from UPS or the Post ID Portal from Deutsche Post.
