Sometimes a customer is in the shop and wants to buy a voucher, or someone wants to receive the voucher by post and then give it to someone else.
In both cases, we don't know who receives the voucher and what their email address is.
Until now, the Modified Shop had no solution for this situation. We have now taken care of this problem and solved it successfully.
- Create voucher codes in the admin as usual, but if necessary just leave the field "e-mail" empty.
- whoever knows this code can then also redeem it.
After the code has been redeemed, the e-mail address of the customer who redeemed it will be displayed as usual.
Not possible for guests, as customers can also redeem part of their credit. This information would be lost at the latest when the shop deletes guest accounts after an order has been placed.
Tested in modified ecommerce 2.0.4.2, 2.0.5.0, 2.0.51
This module changes existing files, therefore not "updateable".
