The module can run as a cron job (=automatic execution) in the background and, for example, send the shop operator an email every night about how high the net turnover was yesterday.
What makes it really interesting is that you can define in the admin which customer groups are to be queried.
In addition, you can also ask for any time period in the query itself, for example 1 December to 31 December 2017 - now you receive, for example, the turnover for customer group 4 for December 2017.
And now it goes even further into detail, you can specify a commission rate, this is calculated automatically.
Why?
You can rent out a shop in this way for a share of the turnover, for example because you as a merchant have a reseller, or because you as a web designer or developer rent out a merchant's new shop on commission instead of writing a one-off invoice for your project.
