15.1.2016 - according to DHL, there is no longer any "island shipping" in the sense of a surcharge.
Of course, you are free to purchase this module anyway.
This shipping module automatically recognises the islands based on their postcode and charges a surcharge for this.
In addition, the "normal" shipping costs are entered in the shipping module based on item weight or price.
For example:
Up to 0 kilos 0 euros, up to 3 kilos 9.40 euros, up to 9 kilos 16 euros,
but if it is an island, then always plus 41 euros island surcharge.
The postcodes of the German islands are included. But you can also add your own postcodes if you need the module for a different solution.
Optional:
If you wish, we can install a second module, Express Shipping with Island Detection,
, which is more or less a duplicate of the first module with an adapted code. This way you can offer both express and normal shipping. Good to know: as soon as a customer changes his delivery address to an island, the express module disappears, as nobody actually offers express to islands.
If your shipping costs are already weight-based, we will use them for our module. Otherwise without data entry.
