If the viewer is a member of customer group X (e.g. wholesaler), then there is a multiplier behind the quantity entry. This is used to place the product in the shopping basket.
Example:
- An end consumer can buy a bottle of wine at 5,-. He is completely free to enter the quantity
- A wholesaler gets the bottle of wine for 3.50. However, he can only buy 100 packs. That means he also has a quantity input field, but behind it is "x 100". If he enters 2 and clicks on "add to shopping basket", he puts 200 bottles in the shopping basket. He can also only change this in the shopping basket by 100 bottles.
The multiplier can be set for each individual product and each individual customer group.
Of course, you can also use the module to always work with multipliers, no matter for which customer group.
