The problem is that if you use the shop's own "maintenance mode", everything is invisible - even for the search engines. You should do something like this for 10 minutes during an update, or when you retire and switch off the shop - but never "just because".
For this very special problem, we offer a pause button. I.e. you press "Pause" in the admin and all buy buttons, the "Checkout" button in the shopping cart and the "Confirm order" button at the end of the checkout disappear. Instead, there is a box on the start page with information about why the shop is closed.
Or, if you prefer, we can integrate the "Holiday Info" module instead of this box at no extra cost, which you can then use again and again in the future. In this case, please select "Additional work" in the selection.
