Do you ever wonder why so many customers type in bullshit?
The name is in the company field, the house number is missing or duplicated, the city is in the street and the fax number is in the telephone field.
The solution is called "Autofill". This is a function in the browser that is supposed to save the customer work. All input fields in the new customer registration are automatically filled by the browser - but unfortunately very often in a totally stupid way, and customers don't check it before submitting.
We switch off the autofill functions:
- in the guest registration
- in the new customer registration
- in the checkout process
- in the address books
