Emergency move to another hoster

Your hoster has made an update and now your shop no longer works.
Or your hoster has gone bankrupt, died, is unavailable - and you still have FTP data but want to move.

We need

• your FTP data
• the so-called AUTH code of your shop domain (*)
• the FTP data of your new hoster (only Managed Hosting with correctly set up server)
• Server, database name, username and password of an empty latin1_german1 database of your new hoster (or the access data to your hosting account).
• For .com domains, you will often receive an email from the "internet superintendence" with a confirmation link, the move will not start until the link is clicked, so it makes sense to set up a forwarding of email copies to us at both the old and the new provider!

Please note that for .de domains it takes 24 hours from entering the AUTH code until the shop is moved, for .com domains up to four days, this cannot be changed.

If you want us to copy your e-mails over, we need the username and password of each e-mail address.

(*) For .de domains:
If your hoster is not available or does not want to send you an AUTH code, we can request one directly from DENIC and have it sent to you by post. However, this will take a few days. This service is included in the price.
