How often should I make a backup?

This question cannot be answered in a general way. Among other things, you have to ask yourself how much time you can lose or how long you can be offline. This depends on your individual e-commerce, the movements in your shop and other factors. For example, are the order and customer data stored in an ERP system? Then one backup per day is quite sufficient. For other shops, however, hourly backups are necessary. The more backups you create, the more storage space you need.
