The most professional solution for search engine optimisation of a category is a second input box in the admin. The first box still contains the category description for the customer. This is presented above the products.
The second, new one is for search engine optimisation. Here you can enter SEO texts. These then appear under the product listing.
Or: You have very long category descriptions, e.g. because the products require explanation, but you want the customers to see the products at a glance. Then you start the category text in the first text field and continue it in the second text field.
