Some traders sell subscriptions or other contracts with recurring payments that are automatically renewed.
Until now, these often had to be terminated in writing or by telephone. The legislator has decided to simplify this from 1 July 2022: Contracts concluded online must also be able to be terminated online.
Solution:
You mark products as "contract" in the admin area.
These products are provided with a "Cancel contract" button in the "My account" area. If the customer clicks on this button, a short security query appears (Are you sure?). Afterwards, the customer receives a confirmation of receipt and the admin receives a notice that the contract has been cancelled.
The e-mail contains the data of which customer has cancelled and which order number and contract it concerns.
You are responsible for checking and confirming the termination date or the termination option!
Attention:
If the customer has concluded one and the same contract several times in one and the same order, there will still only be a note in the e-mail. In this case, you should contact the customer and ask them what they want.

The module is not suitable for guest orders. If you sell contracts, we recommend that you switch off the guest option.
