For quick readers, here is the most important note: this module does not create PDF vouchers, but "only" fills them.
For each language you load a voucher template into the media directory of your store. This template can be designed by you, your designer or by us (for an extra charge). You only need to leave 2 fields empty: for the value of the voucher and for the voucher code.
- In the module itself you can set the distance from the top PDF edge on a y-axis - in this line the voucher code will be entered MIDDLE.
- The same is done with the voucher value.
- The free fields for value and code must be placed centrally.
- We recommend to experiment a bit with design and configuration, or to give the designer some breathing space in the time needed for this.
- As always, items that are a gift certificate must begin with the item number GIFT_ and cannot have a tax rate.
- The price of the item is the voucher value
- After purchasing the item, the store will automatically create a voucher, but it will not be activated (because it might not be paid yet).
- The voucher can also be sent directly to the customer as an attachment to the order confirmation, the customer can then give it away.
- You can also print the voucher or send it again in a separate mail.
- The voucher can be redeemed in the shopping cart, if you have activated it.
- To redeem the voucher, the recipient must create a customer account.
