What is the difference between the Fishnet version and the Forum version?

In the Fishnet version, you can upload background images yourself and optionally create products for Advent that cannot be found via the shop search. These products can then only be found via the calendar. And you can decide for yourself whether the doors are arranged randomly each time or always the same.
In the Fishnet version, we build the calendar in the place you want in the shop, with switches to other modules if you like. Typical example: "If liveshopping is switched on, show liveshopping, otherwise show advent calendar, unless it is not advent".

In the forum version, you can determine yourself via the admin where the advent calendar should appear, for example in a category or on a content page. In this version, you can also store coupon codes (not clickable/automatically redeemable, but only as text). The opening of the doors is animated. The order is always random. You can find the forum version in the Modified Forum.

Fishnet Version Details:

With this advent calendar you can either promote your own products or offer your standard products as special offers.

If you want to create your own products, they are simply placed in an invisible category "Advent", you specify on which day which product should be available for order and the advent calendar links to the desired product every day.
As of the 2019 version, the products in the "Advent" category can no longer be found via the search (but must not be linked in other categories).
You can also select whether the product should only be available for order on this one day or also on the following days. This way, there would be one more product to choose from every day.

If you don't want to create your own Advent products, but prefer to work with the standard products, you can simply link the existing products to the Advent category and then assign them to the December days as usual.
If you want to offer these as special offers, you have two options:

a) you manually set up a special offer every day
b) we install our "Liveshopping" module, but hide the customer display so that you can simply access the admin functions. The liveshopping module allows you to set special offers weeks in advance that are only valid for that one day. After Christmas, we make the Advent Calendar invisible and - if desired - the Live Shopping visible. Then you can continue to use Live Shopping as normal from January onwards.

Presentation:

• Each shop gets its own door sequence.
• Optionally, every visitor of your shop gets a different door sequence - with every call!
• 13 background images (500x328 pixels) are included (note below)
• Upload function in the admin for convenient replacement with your own images (in the module at the very bottom left)

Linking:

• Optional: Each door only works on the respective day, or: Each previous door can be opened
• Usable with specially created products, but also with the standard products (also possible in combination)
• Compatible with the module "Live Shopping", which allows you to fully automate special offers.

Hints:

• If you use a responsive shop, the calendar module also adapts in size.
• the adaptation of the attached images (e.g. the grid pattern) to your shop resolution is not included in the price. Have a look at pixabay.com, you will find lots of suitable images there.

Note for Modified 2.x shops: this module intervenes in shop files and is only partially updateable.
