We compress your images automatically when you upload them. That means you upload an image, we compress it and then save it as a midi, mini, thumbnail, info and pop-up image. So for five images we charge only one image.
You can also compress existing images in the Admin. Utilities - Image Compression - Select Category - Select Image - Zack! - Image compressed. Only images that have not yet been compressed are displayed here, so that nothing is calculated twice. If you have access to your database and want to check it, you will find a new table "products_images_details" where all images are set to 0 (uncompressed) or 1 (compressed).

Each additional image costs 9 cents.
Possible formats: .jpg or .png, also transparent.

You use Photoshop?
With the export function "save for web" you can export pictures as 24-bit transparent PNG files.

We no longer "forcibly" compress the original image, but you can now select in a configuration which images are to be compressed when uploading.
From now on, we recommend that you no longer compress the original image, but the info image and, if applicable, the pop-up image.
