When starting a provider change for .ORG, it is necessary according to an ICANN guideline that the domain holder or Admin-C is informed by e-mail before the start of the provider change by means of a standardised document ("Form of Authorisation", FOA for short) and confirms the transfer.
The ICANN registrar sends a so-called FOA letter by e-mail to the domain holder and Admin-C who is currently entered in the Whois database. The latter must then click on the link in this e-mail within two weeks so that the transfer is forwarded to your current provider.
In other words, if you want to transfer a .ORG domain to us, you MUST, after we have entered the AUTH code, click on the confirmation link in the e-mail you will receive ASAP. Only then will the move start. Please note that the transfer of .ORG domains will take 48 hours even if you respond quickly. Your shop will not be able to sell during this time.
