If a customer cannot find a product, there is usually only an error message, nothing else. 
The customer is left frustrated and the retailer has no idea what just happened. 

There are two important situations in which it would be good to know.
a) the customer belongs to a different generation and therefore searches differently (e.g. for trend designations instead of product names)
or 
b) the customer is looking for a product that would suit this store, but which the retailer does not have on his radar. 

This means that the retailer would actually have to either adapt the search terms of their product or add new products to their range. But, as I said, he is not even aware of the unsuccessful search. 
We are changing that with this plugin!

You can call up and download statistics on the search terms not found in the admin. And you can also be informed directly by the store by e-mail as soon as a product is not found.
