Packaging volumes for LUCID and your dual system, calculated from real orders instead of estimated
Every year you have to report how much packaging you shipped to consumers. If you estimate, you either pay too much in licence fees or risk fines and warning letters from competitors.
With the Packaging Volume Report you specify once per product which packaging it needs. The plugin then calculates the volumes from your actual orders: per month, per country and per material type.
Features
  • All 8 material types required by LUCID and the dual systems: glass, paper/cardboard, ferrous metals, aluminium, beverage cartons, composites, plastics, other
  • Shipping packaging is counted once per parcel, not per product
  • Branded goods handled correctly: if the manufacturer has already licensed the product packaging in Germany, it is excluded for LUCID. It is still shown for deliveries abroad, because there you are usually responsible.
  • Split by country: Germany for LUCID, plus Austria, France and other countries for their local obligations
  • Early warning before your licensed planned volume runs out
  • The annual report shows how close you are to the thresholds for the declaration of completeness, so you know well before 15 May whether you need an auditor
  • Fast data entry: table view, apply values to entire categories, CSV import
  • Audit-proof: values are stored at the time of shipping. Later changes to a product's packaging or weight do not alter existing reports.
  • Optional: filter out B2B shipments
  • CSV export for transfer to your dual system and LUCID
Who is it for?
For all online retailers shipping to consumers. That applies to practically every shop, since shipping packaging always requires licensing.
Note
The plugin calculates volumes based on your input and does not constitute legal advice. Verification, registration, licensing and reporting remain your responsibility.
