Shopify is a rental shop system where hosting is already included and provided by Shopify* . So you can't install it on your own server.

Shopify is available in different price categories (Basic, Shopify and Advanced), which differ mainly in the number of possible employees. Much more important is actually the amount of the transaction fees. Shopify takes money for every transaction: for example, in the Basic plan for credit card payments 2.1% + €0.30 + 2.0% transaction fee. In the Shopify*plan, the transaction fee is only 1% and in the Advanced plan only 0.5%.

Or you can opt for Shopify Payments - here all payments are processed via Shopify itself and the transaction fee is waived. Shopify Payments includes credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna and SOFORT. And even if customers pay with PayPal in the store - as far as we know, the transaction fees are also waived here due to the active Shopify Payments (as of November 2024).

If you have a store, you should add “Pos Pro*”, which links store and store stocks and makes things like “Buy online, pay / exchange / return in store” or demand forecasts and low stock warnings possible.

• Cloud version, does not run on your server, so you have no control over this
