Some customers are interested in our virus scanner but do not want to sign a backup contract. That is why the virus scanner is now also available for purchase separately.
We use it to check any images in your shop for code that does not belong there. At the same time, we check whether the code is harmless code from Adobe, Apple, etc.
If something is found, you will receive an email from your server with a list of the suspicious images found and the reason for the alert, and you can then examine the image or have it examined. If it is harmless, you can put it on a “whitelist.”
You need basic technical knowledge to use this software. You should be able to use an FTP program (e.g., FileZilla) and an editor (e.g., Notepad++), and you should also know that Word is not an editor.
You will receive a PHP file with detailed comments in English and a configuration section at the top. You must be able to customize this configuration yourself, including your shop name, the image paths you want to scan, the email address where the emails should be sent, and the images that should be skipped during scanning. In principle, this is not difficult, but it's not WordPress either :-)
Simply place the modified file in the main directory of your shop and set up a cron job with your host that calls up the file daily.
You will ALWAYS receive an email after the file has been executed. You can create rules on your server (depending on your host) and automatically delete or move all “okay” emails if you wish.
If you wish, you can also book support. Or you can try it out yourself first and book support later by email.
In this case, we will take care of the entire initial configuration for you, run the scanner once, examine any “problematic” images, and give you recommendations.
