This module connects your store with your Google Merchant Center.

In your Merchant Center, there is a fairly hidden page “Recommended retail prices with the biggest performance increase” under Analytics > Products > Prices > Show more. We evaluate this for you and show you the data directly on your store product.

The data in the Merchant Center is:

My price > Suggested price > Predicted increase in clicks > Predicted increase in sales > Effectiveness of the measure

We read this data:

Suggested price > Predicted click lift > Predicted lift in conversions

and add them to your product in the store. We are guided by the NAME of the product.

This is how it works:

In the admin of your store, a new button “Google Merchant Center” will appear at the top right of the product listing page (/admin/categories.php). Click on it to connect your store to your Google Merchant Center and retrieve the product data. As long as you are logged in to Google, you can continue to simply click on the button to retrieve updated data. As soon as Google logs you out, simply log in again here.

In the admin of your store, a traffic light is displayed now under each product. This represents the predicted increase in sales.

Grey means: No data found in the Merchant Center.

You can configure the colors red, yellow and green yourself.

For example (as in our screenshot), green can mean the product can be improved by up to 60  %, yellow means between 60 and 100 % and red means over 100 % is possible.

Click on the respective traffic light under the product and you will see further information.

We need your Google Merchant Center ID for installation. You can find this at merchants.google.com in the top right-hand corner.

From Modified 2.x with at least PHP 7.4

FAQ

Q: Why do the traffic light colors look so strange?

A: To make the module as compact and updateable as possible, we use the colors available in Modified. Inactive colors are toned down, active colors are highlighted.

Q: Where can I find the plugin?

A: You can switch it on and off and configure it under Modules > System Modules. We will make the basic settings (Google Merchant Center ID and API key) for you.
