With this extension for Modified eCommerce, merchants can efficiently implement the new EU information requirements regarding statutory warranties and voluntary guarantees in accordance with Directive (EU) 2024/825. Starting September 27, 2026, the use of a standardized warranty and guarantee label will be mandatory—both in online and brick-and-mortar retail.
The extension handles the technical integration entirely:
* Integration of the official EU label templates in all required language versions
* Visible and legally compliant display directly on product and offer pages (not just in the body text or footer)
* Display of warranty labels for voluntary durability guarantees provided by manufacturers
* Integration of QR codes linking to additional EU information pages
* Ability to update in line with the final design of the label requirements (by September 2026 at the latest)
This approach ensures reliable compliance with regulatory requirements, reduces the risk of legal warnings, and significantly minimizes implementation efforts. The extension enables legally compliant implementation without the need for additional development work on the shop.
