In the delivery threshold script with price change you can activate for which countries you have reached the delivery threshold under Utilities - Country/Tax in Admin.

Afterwards the following happens.

At the top of the shop and also in each product there is a dropdown from which the end consumer must choose his delivery country. Initially, it is set to "Please select".

• The end consumer tries to put something in the shopping basket and gets an error message that he must first choose a delivery country.
• If he chooses Germany, nothing changes (except that he can now put the product in the shopping basket).
• If he chooses a non-EU country, the VAT will be removed as before.
• If he selects an EU country that is not active in the delivery threshold list (because the delivery threshold has not been exceeded there), then nothing changes, as this will continue to be charged with German VAT.
• If he selects an EU country that is active in the list in the admin, then the gross price of the product and the VAT rate change. rate.

The customer now goes to the checkout.
Very clever people might now get the idea of changing the delivery address in the checkout. However, this is not possible!

The customer then gets an error message:

"You have chosen delivery country XY and are not authorised to change it.Please add a delivery address with delivery country XY. If you want to change the delivery country,please delete all products from the shopping cart and start again."
